Jerry at Fair Oaks was the sequel to the popular 1937 children’s series, “Jerry of the Circus.” For some, it was seen as a touching “coming of age” story, one that was inherently unique to the golden age of radio drama. In Jerry at Fair Oaks, the orphaned hero is away from the circus in which he grew up in, but at Fair Oaks School instead.
