Guest Star, that ran in the 1940s and 1950s, was public service radio program produced by the United States Treasury Department. It was intended to promote the need and importance of the sales of saving bonds. The show had a large number of famous guest stars which included actors, singers, and comedians. These people offered a variety of gimmicks in like short skits, hilarious jokes, musical numbers, and many more.
