GSMC Audiobook Series: Persuasion by Jane Austen is the last fully completed novel. It was published at the end of 1817, six months after her death. The story tells of Anne Elliott, who was previously engaged to Captain Wentworth, but was persuaded by her family to break the engagement. Anne and Captain Wentworth, both single and unattached, meet again after a seven-year separation, setting the scene for a second, well-considered chance at love and marriage.
