My Friend Irma, aired on CBS from 1947 to 1954, is a radio situation comedy created by Cy Howard. American actress Marie Wilson was given the role of Irma Peterson, the show’s main character. The series featured Jane Stacy and her friend Irma Peterson, a stenographer based on Minnesota. In the series, Stacy narrated the misadventures of her friend Irma.
