Hollywood’s Open House aired from 1944 to 1948, is a variety old time radio show. The show featured a guest star, radio plays, and music. The famous star selected a favorite movie and presented scenes from that movie along with the cast from the show. During the show’s run, there were two orchestras. Patricia Gilmore was the “girl singer” with the Madriguera Orchestra and Harry Cool was the male singer. Jim Ameche, was the show’s announcer.
